US to expand anti-Russian export restrictions over Navalny case
WASHINGTON, Mar 17 (PRIME) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce intends to expand export restrictions against Russia from Thursday due to the poisoning and imprisonment of opposition leader Alexei Navalny, the authority said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Department of Commerce will expand limitations of exports to Russia because of the chemical weapons poisoning, the authority said.
Earlier in March, the E.U. and the U.S. introduced first sanctions linked to the case.
